Dear Hezron,

We are home after waiting and planning for months.  The trip to Tanzania flew by and we had a wonderful time.  You were a great leader and we enjoyed your company so much.  The two Safaris were so different.  Thank goodness we took yours.  We saw so many animals with you and stayed in beautiful hotels.  Our hunting safari was so different, but we had a great time.  They had had a large group leaving as we got there and had killed everything they had gone for.  There trip was for a month.  So the animals were scarce at first.  We drove 2 1/2 hours most days.  Vic did not want to kill anything but his Cape, but he finally gave in when we needed and killed an impala.  He was a beauty 22 and 1/4".  He killed his Cape on the last day, which was perfect.  They were beginning to move over from the park because of lack of food.  He was hugh; 38 and 1/4 or 1/2.  He was delighted.  We had a great time there also, even though we gave out of water one night, out of meat a couple of nights probably because Vic refused to kill anything, and fuel another time.  It always came in during the night, so it was no big problem and we didn't worry at all.  Everyone was super nice and we had a wonderful time.

Somewhere along the trip I lost my bird book.  Birds of Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda by Terry Stevenson.  It really made me sick.  Terry bought it for me in Kenya and I had written a lot of the birds we saw in Kenya in the book.  If you can check the Arumeru, I would appreciate it.  I really feel like we had it at the hunting camp but no one knew anything.

Congratulations on the new addition to your family.  Joshua Kent certainly timed his arrival perfectly and we do appreciate this even though it kept his daddy in a stew.  I don't think I've ever seen three brothers that looked so alike.  We have three boys and none of them look alike, though you can tell they are brothers.

Thanks for the wonderful time.  Our friends are amazed that we came by ourselves, but we loved being by ourselves.  It was a great, great trip and everyone was so nice and friendly.  And I will certainly recommend YOU to anyone interested in visiting Tanzania.

Dear Hezron,

It was great to hear from you. What a shock to come back to snow and cold weather after the beautiful weather we had there! I want to thank you again for such a wonderful Photo Safari that you treated us to. We have not had time to even look at all of the pictures yet. I have given your contact information to several people and I think that a couple of them are very serious about a trip with you in the near future. We had an uneventful trip home. It is just a long time to sit on an airplane. Our Hunting Safari did not go well. It was very unorganized and I ended up hunting only three days of the seven days that I was supposed to hunt. The problems I encountered were: No Rifle, No PH, NO Game Scout, No Hunting Permits, and then we ran out of fuel. It seems that the only hunt that went well for Usangu was the very first hunt. Everything after that was a mess. I talked to several of the other Hunters, and most had a worse trip than I did. I ended up shooting two Buffalo. They weren't very good, but the only opportunities that I had. The area was over hunted, and I think that Usangu will be out of business if they don't make some immediate changes in the way that they conduct business. We are all doing well and I hope that your Family is well also. I will always have fond memories of our trip with you. Thanks again to Stella for inviting us to your home and for the wonderful lunch she served to us. I will close for now, but will keep in touch.

All The Best,

-Mike

Dear Hezron,

We have just arrived to Spain this afternoon. Everything was alright with the flights, it was so long, but we hadn´t any problems.

The only problem for the moment is to change our mindset after this fantastic travel; where and what we have seen there. It´s difficult to think starting again the jobs and coming back to our "real" life.

We would like to tell you again it has been a pleasure for us to have your kind company on the safari.

We hope to be coming back soon to make another amazing trip with you and we´ll really recommend ours friends to visit your lovely country, of course with you

Thank you very match again for all, and pass our warm and kindest regards to Stellah and Joshua.

All the best for you and very good luck

-Hector y Alicia
